Portugal has the 4th largest growth in the value of agricultural production in the entire European Union

According to data made public today by Eurostat, the value of Portuguese agricultural production in 2021 exceeded 9.6 billion euros, representing a growth rate of 14.6% compared to 2020.

In 2021, agricultural production in the European Union was valued at 449.5 billion euros, in basic prices, representing an increase of 8% compared to 2020.
Portugal thus achieved the 4th highest growth rate in the value of agricultural production in the European Union, well above the European average for the same period.
