Tempos de Hortifruticultura is the name of an agricultural and environmental activity promoted annually, between January and February, by the Jardim da Serra Parish Council, through CDISA / Quinta Leonor (Center for Agroforestry Development and Innovation and Cultural Partner). This year's program will take place in different parts of this parish, between the 27th of January and the 28th of February.
The Tempos de Hortifruticultura campaign has as main objectives the defense of the rural landscape, the preservation and propagation of regional varieties of fruit trees, with special emphasis on the cherry tree.
On February 21, 2019, New Organic Planet (NOP) will participate in the Horticulture Fruits 2020, in the parish of Jardim da Serra, Municipality of Câmara de Lobos.
This edition is part of sub-measure 10.2 of PRODERAM (Support for the Conservation and Sustainable Use and Development of Genetic Resources of RAM). The project set up under this measure has as partners the University of Madeira / GERMOBANCO / ISOPLexis, CDISA Quinta Leonor, the Regional Directorate for Agriculture and the Association of Cider Producers in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
This activity has the support of the Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Rural Development, the Rural Development Program for the Autonomous Region of Madeira (PRODERAM) and the Chamber of Provers (AgroSenseLab) and Certiplanet.

NOP will present, at 7 pm, on February 21, at Quinta Leonor, the Probiomadeira Project of the Prociência Program and the Biopltatform e-Commerce Platform, of the Empreender 2020 Program.
